Hey, I'm Verena.

I’m the brain and body behind Twist Brain & Body.

About Me.

The name "Twist Brain and Body" sums it up: twist old patterns, physically and mentally, and turn insights into a Stay Steady Strategy that sticks.

My professional roots are in event and HR management, right where creativity meets chaos.
I’ve worked across media, marketing, events, and startups. From cruise ships to radio stations, from intimate brand dinners to 15,000-person live events.

And in 2022, I found myself in the Berlin Welcome Hall coordinating the daily operations for thousands of Ukrainian refugees a crash course in leading under pressure, building systems on the fly, and staying human when everything changes by the hour.

I’ve built teams from scratch, shaped cultures that last, and seen firsthand how creative professionals, HR leads, and informal leaders carry enormous responsibility... often without real support for themselves.
That experience drives what I do now: helping people who hold it all together find resilience and self-sustainability that lasts.

My experience is as diverse as my curiosity about people and what drives them.
Across creative industries and corporate structures, I saw the same gap repeat itself: the ones keeping the show and things running from producers and project leads to HR managers and executive assistants rarely get the kind of support they give others.I built Twist Brain & Body to change that.

To offer holistic coaching that fuses strategic clarity (the brain) with embodied practices (the body), practical tools that make real resilience possible. From corporate projects to creative leadership programs, I support people and teams in building the clarity, capacity, and calm to stay steady when things speed up. As a certified coach, systemic organizational consultant, and yoga & natural movement teacher, I blend mindset work with nervous-system awareness and body-based tools. It’s resilience coaching, leadership development, and human performance all in one real-world mix. For me, holistic coaching means clear strategy, grounded action, and zero hocus-pocus. Many coaches talk about mindset. Few can say they’ve planned your offsite, coached your leadership team, held a yoga class before the show in the venue and built your resilience toolkit all in the same week.

Rooted in ritual, reality, and curiosity.

Outside of work, I’m a sailor soul drawn to the water always chasing movement, stories, and new places.
You’ll often find me somewhere with a backpack on my shoulders, exploring Southeast Asia or Central America, with a special love for Mexico.

Solo travel keeps me curious, grounded, and open. The same qualities that shape how I coach and connect with people. My weekdays start with journaling and movement, no matter where I am. Saturdays begin with teaching yoga, then heading to the market, cooking something fresh, and prepping for the week ahead. It’s my way to reset doing something with my hands and senses keeps me centered. I move outdoors a lot. Natural movement, playful workouts, using the world as my gym and playing in there preparing my body and brain for the real world challenges. And I slow down for the small things: the glitter of sun on water, a moment of street art, kids blowing bubbles, a busker’s song I can’t help but sing along to. These moments fuel how I show up for myself, and for the people I work with.
